Change of Pace

We went to Turnipseed Gardens in search of a raspberry in cream day lily. Of course we didn't find that flower but we did get to visit some cool chickens and a guinea hen.
I love to hear a rooster crowing. I wonder how much my neighbors would like that?

Ooh, gorgeous daylily! Where is Turnipseed Farms?

I can see that rooster picture printed on a canvas, and hanging in a country kitchen. Neat photo!

This is unrelated to the rooster, but I saw your book list. I just finished Land of the Mango Sunsets a few weeks ago, and Blue Shoes and Happiness night before last. We totally have the same taste in books!

Oh thank you! Turnipseed Garden is in Fayetteville. Go 54 through PTC to the GA 85 intersection in Fayetteville. Turn right on GA 85 and go a short way. Stay in the right lane as the sign is small and you will turn quickly. If you get to the something Pig, maybe Speedy Pig, BBQ, you can turn in there. The garden is behind the BBQ - but you miss the pretty ride through the property if you enter that way.

I agree with Joy about this picture. I think it would look cool with either the lizard skin effect or old photo effect in Photoshop (with the opacity reduced, not 100%). To me the lizard skin effect can look like canvas.
