One day we were returning from Mobile and took the scenic route - the ferry from Dauphin Island, AL to Ft. Morgan, AL. It was a fun and interesting ride. Love the pelicans!

Navy Blue Angels

One day on my trip to Florida, the Blue Angels decided to practice for their next show. Being up for a challenge, I grabbed the camera. I'm thinking these are supersonic jets, Boing Hornets, and I was crazy to try to "catch" them in a decent shot. It's would be nice if they would consider posing and getting in the correct part of the sky - sunwise - but they were far too fast and busy to worry about me out on the balcony racing across the sky with my camera. This photo looks like a watercolor to me but it isn't. I took the shot myself. Looks like Sherbert Village but I think it would be a cool place to live. Its real name is Banana Bay in Perdido Key, FL.
