One day we were returning from Mobile and took the scenic route - the ferry from Dauphin Island, AL to Ft. Morgan, AL. It was a fun and interesting ride. Love the pelicans!

Navy Blue Angels

One day on my trip to Florida, the Blue Angels decided to practice for their next show. Being up for a challenge, I grabbed the camera. I'm thinking these are supersonic jets, Boing Hornets, and I was crazy to try to "catch" them in a decent shot. It's would be nice if they would consider posing and getting in the correct part of the sky - sunwise - but they were far too fast and busy to worry about me out on the balcony racing across the sky with my camera. Anyway, here are some shots I'm willing to share. If you want pro shots of them, visit their really great website.

This photo looks like a watercolor to me but it isn't. I took the shot myself. Looks like Sherbert Village but I think it would be a cool place to live. Its real name is Banana Bay in Perdido Key, FL.
